Being a Vocational Centre, KICTC provides learning opportunities for all people, cultures and religions among other diversities. It has established an excellent rapport and stable relations with the public.

It adheres to Competence-Based Education Training (CBET) Approach that meets the labour market demands.

Unlike the knowledge-based approach that put much emphasis on knowledge acquisition, KICTC uses Competence-Based Training (CBET) approach seeking to impart students with balanced three-learning-domains, which are, Cognitive (mental ability), Affective (attitude and conducts in areas of their profession) and Psychomotor (relevant skills in areas of their specialization). The approach enhances students’ confidence significantly which in turn contributes to their success in the labour market.
