Requirements
- The target group is those who have attained level II in any training center recognized by VETA, with the pass of a minimum of C in each attended subjects.

- Trainees should be a holder of Electrical Installation Certificate Level II.
- Trainee should pass qualifying exams to be conducted before commencement of the course.

Course Duration
The duration of the course in one year. It begins on January of each year.
Mode of Training
Training is conducted with both theory and practical – concurrently.
Contact Hours
Six(6) hours in a day for five(5) days per week
Course Outcomes
After the course, a trainee will be able to:
- Measure and test three-phase electrical wiring circuits
- Troubleshooting general lighting systems
- Repair and maintain electrical appliances e.g. single phase and three phase AC/DC Machines
- Installing single phase and three phase machines
- Leading and supervising respecive subordinates
- Installing, servicing automatic changeover switch, power factor unit
- Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance
- Planning maintenance schedules
- Carryout completion test as per IEE Regulations
- Planning maintenance schedules

- Perform different types of trouble shootings
- Designing different type of electrical wiring system
